Gayle Uilkema

Gayle Uilkema has served on the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors since 1996. She represents District 2 which includes Alhambra Valley, Canyon, Crockett, Giant, Hercules, Lafayette, Martinez, Montalvin Manor, Moraga, Orinda, part of Pacheco, Pinole, Port Costa, Rodeo, Saranap, Tara Hills, and Tormey. Prior to serving on the county board, she was a member of the Lafayette City Council for 18 years. She is a board member of the Bay Area Air Quality Management District, Central Contra Costa Transit Authority and the Local Agency Formation Commission. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and her Masters degree in Public Administration from California State University, Hayward.
